ABOUT ME

I travel around playing music fairly often, but when I'm not I'm chillin' in Bloomington! I've had some really great experiences with couchsurfing - I'm always down to meet new people, so let me know if you need a place or any recommendations :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in helping my neighbors and fellow travelers. If we all care for each other we can achieve a whole lot of happiness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing to make my way around Europe for 5 months in 2012. I was blown away by the kindness and compassion I received from complete strangers! I made so many instant friends and had such a great time, so I'm trying to reciprocate and keep the cycle going.

Interests

I love to play music, and I do that most of the time. I like to go hiking & camping and anything that involves being outside

Music, Movies, and Books

I like it all - I love hearing new things, and I'll give anything a shot. I listen to a lot of rock n' roll, soul, electronic, indie, jazz, metal, classical, punk, R&B, hip hop, traditional - you name it!

I've been reading a lot of Thich Nhat Hahn, Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman, and Terry Pratchett, Ray Bradbury recently

I really like documentaries and have been really into Sci-Fi films recently.
Big Lebowski, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Life Aquatic, Wet Hot American Summer just to name a couple

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent a lot of time touring around the country with some great bands over the past 5 years.

Living in London and Prague for extended periods while backpacking all over Europe was quite the experience as well!
