About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I won't stop exploring until I've seen it all, met you all, and know it all, which pretty much covers me for life. :)

ABOUT ME

Hi there. Describing myself is like hitting a fast-moving target in high wind; I'm constantly learning and thus, updating my status. I quit my stable job to travel the world and experience other cultures, explore landscapes, and to see how it feels to live in the swift current of life uninhibited by attachments.

PHILOSOPHY

Be conscious of your surroundings and how you fit into and affect them. Then strive to be the best possible person you can be. Don't sit stagnant; get out there and try something new, explore, and learn along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've often pick up hitchhikers and will gladly extend my couch to fellow travelers if I ever become stationary again. I'd rather meet a local and have good conversation than my own private hotel room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed at a traditional village in Fiji as well as a more modern home.

Interests

The greater good of humanity, my spirit, and how they tie together. I have an interest in homesteading. I want my own land where I can grow my own healthy food, raise my own animals, and live peacefully. I still want to travel though, and this homestead will require constant attention, so I plan to build a small community where we all work together for our common good.

I love the mountains- backpacking, snowboarding and mountain biking, and snorkeling, and I wish I could soar like a big bird.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy folk music, bluegrass, electronica, and reggae mainly. Nahko and Medicine for the People is my favorite these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was given a Chief's blessing from a native Maori man in New Zealand at the hand of fate, not tourist dollars.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation! I'm happy to help around the place too- cleaning, working, tending to chores.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, Germany, Guatemala, Jamaica, Kuwait, New Zealand

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Korea, United States
