Overview
About Me
I'm a "mature gentleman" (= old guy) with a spring in my step and and most of my marbles, until recently still actively teaching. Very interested in languages. I occasionally train aikido, which I have been doing for many years. I like all kinds of music, principally classical, but not much of the "heavier" modern music. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and like a nice meal and a glass of wine in good company. And: Gesundheit über alles (more the principle than the practice).

What I Can Share with Hosts
About four years ago I shifted from Geelong to Halls Gap, in the Grampians, so I may not be able to host much for a while. But you could try a request... I say "maybe" because I am now in a new, smallish studio flat, and it is not quite finished, so there are doors missing. There is a large Ikea couch available that can accommodate two people, but it is in an open living room area. Several Couchsurfers have tried it and found it OK, but they were not too fussed about the lack of privacy.
