I grew up in smalltown Iowa. I've lived in N.Carolina, Telluride, Boulder, Denver, Buenos Aires, Quito, and La Habana, Cuba. I speak Spanish and have translated for surgical missions to Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.

I write stories and poems about the stuff we desire most.
