About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My purpose in life is knowing people around the world and growing as a person as I see different cultures.

ABOUT ME

Currently I'm living in Germany for an exchange student program and travelling around europe.
Any advice, experience or call to adventure is welcome. I'm open to meet all kind of people, to share storys and good laughs haha

PHILOSOPHY

What make people really live is movement. Death is when you stand still.
So I'm the ones who are constantly looking for reasons to not let the life pass by, and doing something to be closer to my dreams.
I'm really passionate about helping other people, I've done social work for a long time while I was in my home town and I believe that it is really about the connection that you feel with the people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS community. I've attended meetings in Belo Horizonte but wasn't able to host because I was living in my aunt's house and she didn't really allow that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had none until now. I was presented to CS some time ago, but not until now was I able to fill in my profile. I'm looking forward to being part of this community.

Interests

I really like dancing salsa or other kind of music, talking with people and travelling of course ;p
And recently I've started skateboarding and that just became a thing for me haha

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of the bests movies I've seen are: Into The Wild, Forrest Gump, Fight Club, Dead Poets Society, Elizabethtown, Clockwork Orange.

I pretty much like all tipes of music I know. From classic rock to brazilian funk, from samba to heavy metal. Here are some of the singers/bands that I can highlight: Arctic Monkeys, Macklemore, Skank, Zeca Baleiro, Samba MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) such as Vinicius de Moraes, Chico Buarque.

About books, which I really enjoy, I recently enjoyed reading these: O Encontro Marcado by Fernando Sabino, O alquimista by Paulo Coelho, Factotum by Charles Bukowski, The Methamorphosis by Kafka, and Noite na Taverna by Álvares de Azevedo. I also like some poetry, I recently read Distraídos Venceremos by Paulo Leminksi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the charity work that I've done in a Brazilian poor community (favela) can be considered a great thing that I've done for the poor people and made me view the life in a whole different way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some experience in teaching math, physics and chemistry to high school students. I can teach portuguese, oh and also I have one or two breakdancing moves that I can show you hahaha. I'm interested in learning preety much everything: a language, local dance, tradition or story if anyone if someone is willing to teach me.
