ABOUT ME

Our family, including two children, is currently sailing the world. We are 8 and a half years into a circumnavigation of the world on our (small!) boat. We love couch surfing for the opportunity to meet new people and share experiences.

Update Oct 2014. We completed our 10.5 year circumnavigation in California in June last year and we all hit the dock running. We have been sprinting ever since and hope to slow down sometime next year.

Kids Max and Gina have both finished their first year of college and have started their second. Their dorm rooms look huge compared to their boat quarters! Max is attending the Coast Guard Academy, and Gina has switched from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We CouchSurfed for the first time in May 2011. A fantastic and inspirational interaction that we will remember forever. Both places we stayed were wonderful.
