We are Jaymi and George, Journalism postgraduate students in London. We are 22/23 and have been living in East London since September and are loving it, now we want to see more of the world and meet new people!

We are couch surfing newbies but would love to be shown the ropes and are hoping to host as soon as we have space spare.

Interests

We love travelling, socialising, food, drinking, art and burlesque. We love a good night out and a quiet dinner at home. We want to see behind the scenes of the places we visit and get shown the country you know, not the one in the tourist books. We run a blog about women cycling in London and love to write about the new places that we see.

Music, Movies, and Books

We were both English Literature students so book love ranges from Brendan Behan and Emile Zola to Alistair Gray and Cormac McCarthy. We love films and music...Withnail & I and Amelie, rock and rock, but we love a dance (if drunk enough!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Swimming in a waterfall in Morroco was refreshing.
- Sitting on a roof top in Turkey watching the sun rise listening to the call to prayer.
- Driving in a New York cab across Brooklyn bridge was awesome!
- Enjoying the local hospitality when I was left stranded in Budapest with my sister at midnight.
