About Me

Hello. I'm a Mexican IT master's student. Currently I'm living in Bern, Switzerland for one semester and looking forward for all these new experiences of living abroad, meeting new people and cultures or helping you discover Mexican culture.
I'm an easy going guy who would never turn down a coffee or a beer and a good talk about basically anything. I consider myself mostly an introvert so I respect and value personal space but have no problem sharing some time together.
I'm really interested in technology, languages, books and videogames but I also like to find the time to party and experience local nightlife. I love animals, specially farm animals and dogs.

As you see I have my CS account since 2010 but never really used because I wasn't travelling that much. I've hosted several visitors in my place but mostly "friends of friends" and now I hope that changes.

__________
Next Trip Planned: Paris on 26.10 to watch one of my favorites band live at Le Trabendo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to experience the local culture as much as I can and I believe that can mostly be accomplished by sharing experiences with locals (or people that has been living in your destination country for longer). Hotels are a bit impersonal for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a bookworm I love reading and discovering new books and I really enjoy reading books in its original language whenever its possible. My favorite books are: The Chronicles of Narnia, The Book Thief, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, as you see I really enjoy fantasy but also Wuthering Heights, Love & Prejudice, and other classics.

When it comes to music I'm very eclectic and I like it! I like rock, rock pop, pop, metal, EDM and other electronic music sub genres. Some of my favorite bands are Mago de Oz [Spain], Poets of the Fall [Finland] and Green Day [USA] as for singers I like Adele [UK] and Maria José [México].

And, of course, I never say no to a good movie. I like TLotR, Harry Potter, Old Boy, Angel Exterminador, The Neon Demon, Climax and a lot of others. By the way I loved Game of Thrones (till mostly the 6th season). Basically fantasy is my thing. The only tattoo I have it's based on Narnia Pauline Bayne's original drawings.
