ABOUT ME

I am a travel addict! I love learning about all cultures and varied types of people this beautiful planets sustains.
I've traveled 56 countries so far and lived abroad for 5 years but returned to the U.S. to be close to my family.
I have made many friends while traveling and all of them lasting.
My philosophy in life is "Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself" And since I adore good things coming to me, I am always eager to help and do good towards others.
My religion is my conscience and this guidance has served me unfailingly!
My passion as you can see is Foreign Travel and second to that is preparing gourmet meals from organic vegetables out of my garden, meeting new people, socializing, running, hiking, biking, sailing, climbing, adventures, good books, good movies and good wine.
I love having interesting and stimulating conversations with people all over the world and I'm more apt to open my ears than my mouth. (so much more I learn that way)

I have concluded in life, there is no right way to live it. Only your way! And how we do so is based on how were taught therefor a big believer in tolerance.

I'm a good fiend, calming disposition, thoughtful and smiling often.

I have been hosting world travelers in my home for the past 15 years and would love to be part of a reciprocating community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made friends in the most serendipitous ways that have opened up so many wonderful adventures for me and I have done the same for others.
I have hosted many of those friends in my home and have gladly accepted invitations to be a guest in theirs. These have been lasting friendships and I am always happy to add more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing being relative.
I think its' cool that I run marathons, have visited 56 countries, every u.s. state, alaska, canada and hawaii (many times) and managed to not get married yet,just because everyone else is doing it!!!
