ABOUT ME

Desde 3 años conocí a Nathalie, mi esposa. Compartimos muchas aficiones: dibujar, pintar, cantar, hacer senderismo, viajar...
Viajaremos durante 2 meses y medio a México en enero, febrero, marzo de 2024.

Me gusta viajar, descubrir nueva cultura. No sólo lugares turísticos sino también compartir muchos momentos con la gente.
Tomarme el tiempo para dar origen a mis cuadernos de viajes y recuperar las cuentas que reuní junto con todas las personas que encuentro en mi camino. Todos los dibujos y acuarelas de mis diarios de viaje están hechos en exteriores, del natural. No me lo esperaba, pero ahora comparto mis viajes con libros, exposiciones, jornadas musicales, talleres…
También me gusta cantar y tocar música, guitarra y oud (laúd árabe) y soy muy interesante con la música y los instrumentos tradicionales.

Since 3 years I met Nathalie, my wife. We share plenty of hobby : sketching, painting, singing, hiking, travelling...
We'll travel for 2 month and half in Mexico in January, february, mars 2024.

I like to travel, to discover new culture. Not only touristic places but also share lot of moments with people.
Taking time to give birth to my travel books and to bring back the accounts I gathered along with all the people I met on my way. All the sketches and watercolors from my travel diaries are made on location, from life. It was not expected, but now I share my travels with books, exhibitions, musical conference, workshops...
I also like to sing and play music, guitar and oud (arabic lute)and i'm very interesting with traditionnal music and instruments.

J'aime voyager seul pour découvrir de nouvelles cultures, partager avec les locaux. J'aime voyager avec un crayon et un carnet pour faire des carnets de route où mon journal côtoie des croquis & aquarelles et des témoignages des gens croisés sur la route. cette activité prend beaucoup de place dans ma vie puisque nous avons publié les carnets et je participe à de nombreux festivals, salons, expositions...

I like so much this way to met people. I already met really nice person with CouchSurfing.
Unfortunately my home is too small to offer nice place for host and I'm not alone...

MY COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience I had was so wonderful. Really a good way to meet people and discover some places. For me it's amazing the way that we feel friends as soon as we met.
I was hosted in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Ethiopia, Yemen, India, Spain, England and of course France

Music, Movies, and Books

World music, specially oriental and fusion (arab, indian or persian) like Anouar Brahem, Dhafer Youssef, Titi Robin, Ross Daly, Loreena Mc Kennit...), but also music from the 70's Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Led Zep, Bob Marley... French songs (Brassens, Cabrel...) Many styles in fact except Rap and Techno.
Lord of the Rings is my favorite film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working (for fun) in the desert as a camel driver, driving 3 tourists on 3 camels at the end of the rope.. in south Tunisia, is probably at this time my strongest souvenir from travels.

Me retrouver à promener des touristes en étant engagé (pour le fun) comme "chamelier stagiaire" à Ksar Ghilane, dans le désert tunisien est probablement mon souvenir le plus fort de voyage. Le comble de l'intégration...
