ABOUT ME

The quick version: I am traveler, a kiter, a salsero.

The longer version: Born and raised in Austria, went to the US when I was 19 to study English, got stuck there and ended up working and studying for 9 years in Seattle, WA, quit my job in October 2006 and jumped into my Chevy Conversion Van with my girlfriend and all my kiteboarding gear and headed down the US West Coast, across the country to Texas, then flew to Europe to visit family, then came to Central America to study Spanish, traveled, kiteboarded in Lake Atitlan, Belize and Honduras and lived a few months in Antigua, Guatemala and continued to travel wherever the wind took me through Central America. Went to Miami for a month and half to teach kiteboarding, change gear, and flew to Colombia to visit this amazing country and make new friends. Went from Colombia to Panama, back to Guatemala, to Miami, then to Italy. Completed the IKO Kiteboarding Instructor Training in Italy, went to Sardegna, ... and many other places. I love to travel, love to meet new people and hear their stories, enjoy talking in Spanish, I love the beach and the water and I am an addict for kiteboarding. I follow my dreams, I quit a professional career to travel long term and see the world, learn about other cultures, and kitesurf wherever I find wind and water.

Whenever and wherever I live my couch will be open to you ... no worries! My goal is to couchsurf with as many people as possible, get to know them as well as the places they live, teach or tell them about my experiences,  invite them to wherever I live and make new friends all around the world.
