ABOUT US
Since our wedding at 18/08/18 we are travelling for 6 months through Europe and Asia.

We are an adventurous, spontaneous, easy going couple that is always looking for new experiences and challenges and that loves meeting new hosts on our way.

WHO ARE WE?

Lydia is 22 years old, studies for interpreter and speaks fluent Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish.

Ruben is 24 years old, is a teacher in biology and geography and speaks 'only' Dutch, Englisch and a bit French.

Couchsurfing allows us to connect with people from all around the world. It gives us the possibility to meet new people and to share experiences and stories with each other and to have a laugh

Running, surfing (only recent), seeing the world while pedalling our bike, exploring new cultures, and enjoying the people we meet along!

Ruben: During the summer of 2015 I was cycling the coast of the Western Sahara desert with a surfboard mounted to my bike...
The next summer I walked from Mexico to Canada on foot, 6 months of walking 30km/day.

Lydia: Hmm, looks like I didn't do anything crazy yet.. BUT I'm fluent in five languages!
