Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

...by telling people all over the world how cs might change your life, gives you the opportunity to meet new great people and have a fun time. And by being a respectful surfer who is quite a lot of fun to hang out with ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience in Vancouver/Canada - and was fascinated by CS ever since. Still have never stayed in a hostel on my own because I always decided to do cs in the and - and I'm glad I did! Always meeting incredible people, getting to know the local culture and having memorable times I'll never forget.

In the meanwhile I've crashed couches in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Malaysia and Taiwan- and I'm excited to surf on more couches but also host travellers whenever I settle down (might not happen in the next year though :D )

Interests

A lot...traveling, travel blogging, dancing, getting to know foreign countries, cultures and languages, running, cycling, hiking, adventures, meeting friends and new people, reading, partying, chilling, good drinks and good food, trying out new stuff and after all.... traveling, traveling, traveling! :)

Books: Stephen Covey - 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The Power of Habits (can't think of the author right now), ...

I'm not too much into movies but still love watching them. Listen to pretty much any music from country to rock depending on my mood. Love to read more non-fiction books - love my kindle and more over audio books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surround the world on a cruise ship with stops at Ushuaia, Easter Island, Tahiti, Bora Bora, ... and so many more gorgeous places 🤩

Got lost on a backcountry hike in Hong Kong with a friend (sun was setting and instead of heading towards home we were busy taking pictures of the sunset ^^) and had to stay overnight in the forest with no water or food and just a swim suit and a towel on.

Road trips in Canada, the States and Germany I'll never forget.

Cliff jumping in Canada.

Met a guy who was running across Canada in only four months.

Sat in a hot spring with four other people realizing, there's sitting four different continents sitting in one pool right now.

Scuba diving on the Philippines.

Great hike in the Olympic National Park in Washington State with a stunning view over the Park (you gotta go there!)

Met a lot of amazing people and realize: Everyone has a story to tell. And I want to write a book on the people and their stories I’ve learned about ❤️

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach.. I can teach how to crack a coconut without any tools, improvising and problem-solving, optimism, motivation, English, German, leadership, self-empowerment and lots of other skills due to my passion of being a trainer and coach ;)

Share? .... brightness, laughter, adventures and experiences.
