About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the mysteries of the universe and connect with people.
ABOUT ME
I originally grew up mostly in Austin and spent a lot of my young adult life in San Antonio. My mom is a personal chef originally from Peru, and my dad is a physicist originally from Argentina. I have three brothers, and I come from a pretty goofy, loving family.
Near the end of high school I became passionate about children with autism, and I majored in Psychology at Arizona State University. I'm now back in Austin, doing a PhD in Psychology at the University of Texas. I'm primarily doing research in cognitive development, but I'm fascinated with all kinds of things including social cognition, embodiment, and consciousness.
Much like everyone on here, I love to travel and experience different cultures. In the last few years I've had the opportunity to travel throughout Peru and Ecuador, and more recently I've had some great experiences throughout the west coast of the US and up in Canada as well.
Art, music, and sports make me happy. I love drawing and creating things with my hands, playing the violin, cooking, doing martial arts, and I love to learn new things. I love nature, animals, epic fantasies and sci-fi, and I looooove food.
My personality might be characterized as broad strokes of chill and easygoing with little splashes of energetic goofiness and pensive nerdiness. I like meeting new people and sharing ideas and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to CS, but I think it's an amazing concept for creating meaningful connections with people locally and around the world. I wish to contribute by meeting people during my travels, and anyone who wishes to meet in Austin.
