About Me

Courage - Love - Kindness - Joy

I grew up in a small town in the north of Germany and soon realized I need to see more of the world. During High School I lived in California for a year, then I moved to The Netherlands for my Bachelor Degree and spent a semester in Panama. I have met so many incredible people along these journeys who have taught me more about life and about myself than I could've ever imagined.

I love being active in life, enjoying nature, sharing good food and wine with nice company, reading a good book, having bonfires, inline-skating along the beach, conversations that include deep talk, playing cards friends and just exploring the world and meeting nice people along the way :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting 'locals' makes traveling much more authentic and fun. I love being connected with people all over the world and making friends through random experiences.

Interests

I aboslutely love the beach. Having a cosy bonfire with friends, inline-skating or running along the dunes, sharing a beer with friends while watching the sunset or just reading a book while listening to the waves.

Music, Movies, and Books

Crime shows and documentaries are my favorite.

I love starting my morning with a good coffee and some Mumford and Sons, Jack Johnson or John Mayer.

Only started reading about a year ago but ever since I like to read self-developing books, nutrition and health books or a classic novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up Volcán Barú (Panama) for 6 hours in the middle of the night with a random group of people that I met only hours before, shared snacks and received some hot chocolate from a security officer at the summit cause the trail was officially closed due to bad weather conditions and the cold was unbearable. Still a unique and super fun experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently in the early stages of trying out yoga, so I'm happy to learn from more experienced yoga practitioners.

I'm also open to explore new outdoor activities, such as climbing, mountain biking or rafting. And of course, I'm always down to try new food.

I can teach you how to order beer in German and share some stories about weird traditions that excite people in the rural north of Germany.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring some typical apple cider (we pronounce it Ebbelwoi) from Frankfurt, share some fun travel stories or just share a nice meal together :-)
