ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me as someone who ıs curious, nice, adventurous, generous, and loves laughter.
I am also very open minded and am more than willing to try everything at least once. Although I like to plan things out, I also love being spontaneous. At moments, I will try to act now and think later. This has actually resulted in a lot of long-lasting memories. Of course, ı'd be more than happy to share my stories, as long as I can hear yours too! :)

update: I have been to a total of 25 countries and did 16 of them in 2014.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed in Europe when I was studying abroad in Germany earlier this year. I really enjoyed meeting up with locals, meeting new people, and having fun. Now my couch is open in calgary! Note: I just moved to Calgary in Jan 2015 from toronto, so I am still learning about the city :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in various places, such as Spain, Italy, Germany, etc. I have even met really kind and fun locals while I was travelling alone abroad :)

Interests

I'm a huge foodie. I love trying different types of food and absolutely enjoy baking. To balance that, I actually do enjoy keeping active. I'm into running, hot yoga, cardio, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Animation is usually my favourite (think Finding Nemo, Up, Wreck it Ralph, etc), but I also love movies that make me think! Generally speaking, i'm not picking about my movies, as long as it's not horror!

Books: I enjoy reading about dystopia.

Other: I'm into musicals! I actually recently watched Wicked in London.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have completed two semesters abroad - one in Shanghai, the other in Germany.

I visited Canada for a couple of hours, while I was in France :)
