My name is Gloria, I am 25 years old and I live in Copenhagen. I am currently studying Anthropology of Health at the University of Copenhagen. During my bachelor I studied both at the University of Bologna and at UCL in London. I woofed in Spain and did several experiences as an au-pair (in Switzerland, Ireland and England). Apart from my love for Anthropology, I indulge myself with walks around the city taking pictures with my analog camera or in endless drawing sessions (I mainly do digital illustrations and this is my website if you want to peep in - they are cute, they are for kids but they are cute haha http://glor-iam.wixsite.com/gloriamoreno).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I firmly believe that what truly makes a difference about a given place is the people with whom you share your experience of this place with. Through couch surfing your plans can be completely overturned in such an unexpected way and, at least for me, it's always turned out to be incredibly pleasant. I remember this time I couchsurfed in Agrigento (Sicily) and Salvo (my host) brought my boyfriend, these two other girls who were being hosted as well ( one of them I'm still friends with!) and I to his friend's house who had the most amazing villa near the sea - literally the grass in his yard would slowly turn into sand and finally into water. I also had my first and most delicious fig of my life :) (although it's pretty ridiculous I didn't have one before considering that I am from Italy haha)
How could have that happened if I hadn't couchsurfed? I would have probably just gone to bed because I was tired after walking around all day long in the heat!
