About Me

I am a happy and curious person and love to constantly learn and explore. I love me a glass of wine, but am not a partier. I'd rather eat! It satisfies my stomach and my soul.

I am passionate about the arts. I work in theatre and dance, and each production or contract teaches me more about compassion and what it means to work hard and love what you do.

I am thankful to be observant of the world around me and the ability to appreciate the small things in life. I am a big believer in smiles and having a positive vibe. It makes such a difference to people around you. I like to laugh, especially at terrible puns.

I really like llamas. I REALLY like llamas. I have a friend of the stuffed variety named Douglas who travels with me. He is little and he is a llama and he has travelled with me throughout Southeast Asia, South America, Europe, and Canada. I also have an amazing cat named Minou, but she is staying home.

I believe in dignity for all. I will not stand for your misogyny, racism, or homophobia. A word that has stuck with me recently is "solidarity".

I want to live sustainably and travel ethically. I hate plastic packaging. Marketing and consumerism make me very uncomfortable because they prey on the worst aspects of humanity.

End of random points about me. The take away is: you smile, and I will smile, and we will EAT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love me some real quality human interaction. I like meeting fun people and feeling like you've known them for weeks instead of minutes.

I love travelling and I like talking to adventurous, exciting people. I like when people tell me stories. CSers like to tell stories and have adventures. It seems like a good fit!

I've couchsurfed in Hungary, Italy, Ecuador, Thailand, Canada, and USA. I've been to a few meetups in different cities. Every experience has strongly impacted who I am today. Met some awesome people, shared some good food, had plenty of laughs.. made my life all the more interesting!
