I want to have a ful-filling life. I find I learn the most about life from meeting people who have had different life experiences than myself.

ABOUT ME

I am friendly, easy-going, and conversational. I dislike television. I like to have a cup of coffee, tea or beer with another person that enjoys stimulating conversation not about celebrities or the weather. I enjoy theater, music shows, museums and hiking.

PHILOSOPHY

I have the ability to grow as I learn new things and ways of being. I enjoy struggling at something. I accept that good things and difficulties go in hand in hand. I do not want to live a comfortable life without intense happiness, even if it means having to know intense suffering.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be a surfer for now, but once I am more settled I hope to offer my own couch to return the favor someday.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in a house that hosted a surfer. I liked getting to meet new people.

Interests

I enjoy reading fiction, philosophy, and nature books. I am learning how to play guitar. I like hiking, birding, and biking. I have taken an African Dance class and love all forms of dance. I am not an expert at any of these things, but I find much fulfillment in doing them and sharing them with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Lady and the Unicorn (La Dame a la Licorne) Tapestries at the Cluney Museum in Paris. And now I have seen the Hunt for the Unicorn Tapestries at the Cloisters museum in New York!
