Overview
About Me
Hi there, I don't actually live in Toronto any more, and have no idea how to change this.
CURRENT MISSION
To leap from tall buildings in obnoxiously neon full-body spandex
ABOUT ME
I am a fun person! I find it very easy to connect to all kinds of people; I think I've gravitated to working in the service industry because I'm very approachable. People in my class at school come to me first for clarification in assignments, even though I can only provide a solid answer about 30% of the time... (lets just say paying attention for long periods of time isn't exactly my strong suit.) That being said, I love good stories, especially travel stories.
PHILOSOPHY
If you understand the character motives of Wafflebot from Harold & Kumar's Christmas Movie, then we will be friends for life. LIFE!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
***PLEASE READ****
New Couchsurfers: I don't host surfers who don't have any references! (I'm a single lady with no kung-fu skills, please understand.) If you're brand-spanking new to CS, get a friend or even your mom to fill out the profile and say what a nice person you are etc.
Also the more effort you put into your profile, the more you appear to be a human being and not a robot. Beep Bop Boop. Also, about the embarrassingly low response rate, I sort of forgot to log in to couchsurfing for about 5 months, so I hope to change that in the future. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
October 23 2012: I just picked up an album by the Lumineers a couple days ago. Magic! Me thinks I have a long life of loving Bluegrass ahead of me. Please send me recommendations for AWESOME bluegrass music. It is actually impossible to have a lousy time if there's a banjo being played within earshot. Truth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit smoking in January 2010. Tobacco :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my favourite courses was the foundations of Western Philosophy where we dissected the essays of thinkers from Plato to Kant, Hume, Locke etc, epistemology, and the foundations our current system of law is based on, but that was 10 years ago and I forget all of it. If you can shed light on any of these topics I'll puke with excitement. Gross, who says that. Seriously though I love learning and arguing around those guys. If history is one of your strong suits, then let me know in your surfing request. It'll be golden.
If you love crafts, we can have a crafternoon! I can teach you to knit, or we can paint or play ping-pong. I LOVE ME SOME PONG. Anything with a hot glue gun, paper, scissors etc. Yes, I am an over-grown 6 year old.
