Planning my first trip to the USA, 2025

ABOUT ME

Been years since i've been on this site and lots has changed for me in this time.

At the moment i am trying to plan out my trip to the US in 2025.
I will be spending between 3 and 4 weeks there and will be touring around as much of the country as i can on motorcycles.
At this stage it looks like i'll be arriving at Rhode Island around 30th of July. I'll spend a few days on the west coast (Boston, DC and...?). Possibly ride tail of the dragon if time permits.
Then head to the west coast using L.A. as base camp and heading out on some road trips.
I want to soak up as much of the country as i can so places like Utah and the like appeal to me.
I'll also be doing a track day at Laguna Seca.
Other than that i am yet to lock in anything specific and welcome suggestions on places to go, things to do etc.
Would love to meet some locals and maybe hang out a bit and see what you guys get up to :)

BIO BELOW:

It took ages before i got the chance to start satisfying my lust for travel but in '03 i finally got to go abroad and have never looked back since.
I'm a very easy going guy who can get along with pretty much anyone except maybe pretentious types.
I'm very down to earth and can easily find a reason to have a laugh. Adventurous, spontaneous and energetic i'm a real get out there and do it type of guy when i travel. Love to explore and will give pretty much anything a go.
By the same token i'm a very genuine and respectful person who is passionate about many things, cherish my friends and always happy to meet more :-) Very witty and get along particularly well with those who have a sense of humour, a love of animals or ride motorcycles.
Fascinated by other cultures and love to learn about the way of life when i go to other countries. I often avoid the traditional tourist traps and like to get out there and just roam and see how real people live and discover things that are often overlooked by travellers.

Everything that happens to me is just part of what's taking me where i'm going.

I have hosted a few people in the past and had a wonderful person show me around on one of my trips to Singapore.
I hope on this trip to the US i will get a lot more experience meeting locals in their own country and am actually really excited about this.
With luck maybe i can find a host here and there.
I think making connections with people from the countries you visit really adds something special to your travels :-)

Music? Woah, just about anything.
Movies? Again, way to varied to list.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The fireworks/laserlight show in HK was pretty cool. Sunrise on the Great Ocean Road (Victoria Australia), befriended wild animals, ridden a motorcycle at close to 300km/h lol!
Bathed a baby elephant.
