I enjoy learning about life through story telling and other arts especially music.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that love is expressed through being present in the moment. As Julie Andrews said "...you can't wholeheartedly be in love with one person all the time...". It's not to say that love anyone less l, just that if we keep loving our heart grows. So even though we love people as much as we ever did we make room as our heart grows, sometimes that growth comes with pain, heart ache, but if we exercise our heart regularly and stretch it out daily, by loving ourselves our capacity to love unconditionally grows. We love to love not to be loved in return. We love from a place of infiniteness and from which our cup stays full.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have some experience prior to couchsurfing, and some since. I am hoping to splice CouchSurfing with nursing somehow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly I surfed new friends around the states. I have meet up with some folks and networked a bit. It is my desire for my home to be a place of cross cultural exchange and community building. I had a lot of amazing people stay with me in Malawi.

Musica, film e libri

I love romantic comedies, most recent favorite movies include ;midnight in Paris, he's just not that into you, my idiot brother. Movies that I just love to watch from time to time, pirates of the cariebean, breakfast club, say anything, princess bride, blues brothers, ferris bullers day off, pretty in pink, oh brother whereout thou....
When it comes to music, preferably something to dance to but I do like chilout or classical ocasionaly, great musicians and story tellers, willie nelson, john prine, billie holiday, Elvis Costello, Jerry Garcia, John Lennon, Tracy chapman, Ani Defranco, Joan Bieaz, chris christifferson, bob Dylan, Janis Joplin....... It's to mind boggling to think of all the music I love especially today with the sounds of world mixing it up.
I will read what is giving to me, mostly cause it can be a donting task to pick books sometimes.

Ti Lu Su water falls in Thailand was amazing. In Zomba Malawi the botanical gardens and the Zomba plateau are beautiful.

I like th sacredness of tending a fire, dancing around fire and drumming. I can teach basic crytal wraping. I have been studyin herbal medicine for years and realize the more I know the more I know I need to learn and my appreciation for plants grow.
