About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To save the earth in case of alien invasion (have spent many years playing games like R-type, AeroFighters and StarFox 64, trust me)

ABOUT ME

I am a two-legged, two-handed, one-headed, cisgender straight man. What more would anyone want to know about me?

Oh, and I've got great sense of humor (that's what everyone has to write here, right?)

- Since CS decided to limit the number of requests you can send per week, you may contact me at gmargari@gmail.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To host people from all over the world and get their kidneys while they are asleep.

Interests

I am a big fan of breathing: I try to breathe almost every day. I personally think it is one of the most effective ways of helping yourself to not die, along with avoiding to fall from rooftops and not sleeping on train rails, and I suggest you try it. You can thank me later!

Fun fact 1: did you know that The Prodigy are also big fans of breathing, and have even produced a song ("Breathe") to inspire people to start breathing?
Fun fact 2: did you know that if you don't breath for more than an hour the probability of dying from suffocation increases dramatically?

Music, Movies, and Books

Some movies that just poped into my mind: Die Welle, Das Experiment, American History X, Donnie Darko, Safety not guaranteed, Planet of the Apes, Danish girl, Invisibles, Moon, Stranger than Fiction, Gia mia houfta touvla
Some series: ***Black Mirror***, Utopia, True Detective, Last Man on Earth, East Bound and Down, Black Mirror again.

Music:
post rock (Mogwai, If These Trees Could Talk),
metal (Atheist, Death, Virus, Psychotic Waltz, Cynic, Slayer, Exodus, Entombed, Mastodon, Rhapsody -fuck no... I just wrote it to show you I've got sense of humor),
90s dark electro (Bauhaus, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Sisters of Mercy),
Marillion, Floyd, Nick Cave, tango, GravitySays_i (amazing greek band, check them out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6SjUZdNe9c), Mazoo and the Zoo (also an amazing greek band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOoTyWKEr_Q), Prodigy (as anyone born in the early 80s), Django Reinhardt. Basically, anything ranging from classical music to sludge metal (excluding things like singers from crappy reality shows, Fillipos Pliatsikas, and Eleni Tsaligopoulou -even thinking of her singing hurts my ears).

Books:
mostly crime fiction (Michael Connelly, Jeffrey Deaver, John Le Carre, Ian Rankin), books that try to explain how that thing we've got stuck inside our head works (e.g. The Art of Thinking Clearly, Opening Skinner's Box, Jorge Bucay books), Ender saga trilogy, 1984, Charles Bukowski, Super Katerina, Mikimaou.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
