About Me
Oddly, in the process of moving across the Atlantic! Kind of in a weird point in life, so right now not hosting people. Sorry!
My outlook in life is that it is too short and the universe is too rich and wonderful to just stay put somewhere and not expand your horizons. Always on the lookout for new experiences!
I'm a very nerdy, kind of funny person with a love for traveling, biking, cooking, music and obscure video games. I enjoy having interesting, meaningful conversations and find it immensely eye opening debating ideas and opinions. Overall, I appreciate arguments but am extraordinarily terrible at small talk.
I think people and cultures are fascinating. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and discussing everything from physics to philosophy. I can find interest in most topics and think that there's something to learn from everyone, that's why couchsurfing is a brilliant platform.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting cool people, discovering awesome, non-touristy places - what's not to love?
Interests
I've always liked being in nature but I've recently found a new love for the mountains, even though the sun, sea and sand remain unrivaled in my heart.
I like being active and enjoy a variety of sports and activities (even if I'm not particularly good at any of them), I'm always up to trying new ones as well. My favorites include yoga, basketball and horseback riding.
Being from a pretty big city, I love to go out and enjoy the cultural opportunities in town: expositions, museums, theater, cinema, and even food! I also enjoy the nightlife, mostly trying cool new places to eat, going to bars and pubs with good music, and even nightclubs sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Netflix is maybe the longest and stablest relationship I've had in my entire life. I quite enjoy Tarantino films and watch too many shows. I usually prefer stuff that makes you think, but I also tend to like mindless superhero movies even though they always give terrible roles to women.
As for books, my #1 love is the brilliant Brothers Karamazov. Also I pretty much love anything existentialism, discussion of the human condition, all that jazz. #2 is science fiction. #3 is probably Harry Potter, which I first read when I was 7 and then spent the following 4 years waiting for a Hogwarts letter (I'm still bitter).
I love music and even more the incredible atmosphere in festivals and concerts, so I'm always going to those, as much as possible. I'll probably find something to like in almost every genre, but some of my favorites are classic rock, folk, indie and metal. I also adore Brazilian music, old and new artists and a variety of genres, from rap to rock to traditional regional music.
