Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back home I have worked for three years as a Security Guard doing various jobs from festivals, bars and clubs to supermarkets, retail and empty buildings.

I trained professionally in dance and acting and spent 2023 touring a dance show in England, performing in the Edinburgh International Festival and choreographing Cumberland Theatres Christmas show.

In 2024 I have been doing alot of short films and moving house.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise, anything with a good beat, I can get down with.

I love a good movie, really enjoy interesting world building that you can escape into. I grew up on Lord of the Rings.

Books, I'm dyslexic so we were never good friends, however, reading On The Road during the UK's many lockdowns helped keep me sane and inspired this trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For three years I worked in a suit shop and one day I sold a suit to The King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf without having any idea who he was.

My manager thought it was hilarious because selling a suit typically takes over 30 minutes and a customer came over with just a bow tie whilst I was serving and seeing how it would take no time at all to put the bow tie through, I politely told the King to wait, oblivious to the situation.

I have a basic understanding of tailoring, fittings and alteration.

I can cook, just show the kitchen and what I'm working with.

I can clean, dishes and houses.

Garden work? I've got no experience but I like being outdoors.

Anything heavy? Need furniture moved? I'll give it my best shot!

Problem solving, studying in the art and working in security you learn all about creative solutions and finding the easiest route to your desire outcome.

Personal trainer, not trained but if you want someone to workout with you and give you ideas of things to try I'm your guy.
