ABOUT ME

I play the guitar and sing in a melodic hardcore punk band called "Genetically Modified Humans". You can listen to/download our last EP here : http://soundcloud.com/gmhtheband
I was born in Sweden but moved to France when I was 7. I've been in an international school for most of my school years and have studied both French and Swedish in parallel until 9th grade, at which point I went to a boarding school in Sweden, where I stayed after high school to study sound engineering. I've also picked up a pretty flawless English interacting with my Anglo-Saxon classmates throughout my school years.
I now live in Sartrouville, a Paris suburb, with my brother who plays the bass and does backing vocals in my band.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be a "good" person, and in my experience, the best way to achieve that is through cooperation, communication, empathy and a good dose of humanity. I have an inherent mistrust for any kind of "authority" be it state, church or any other kind of (more or less) self-proclaimed higher value trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is usually available for anyone in need. It can be converted into a bed for two, but it's less comfy when unfolded. Also have a couple of mattresses if needed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted CouchSurfers through my last girlfriend, when it was too crowded at her place. She's moved abroad now so I thought it might be a good idea to create a profile of my own, to keep the couch available.

Interests

Music, movies, reading, etc. Pretty standard stuff. I also enjoy meeting new people, sharing experiences, jamming with fellow musicians. Having a good time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every gig with my band is an amazing experience. Especially hanging out with the audience after the gig. It's always very rewarding and fun!
