ABOUT ME

I am a teacher of English working in an area close to the city of Thessaloniki. I like traveling a lot and also enjoy the company of my friends. I love organizing things and planning ahead and sometimes, according to my friends, this spoils all the fun. I have never been a party animal in my life and I still prefer going out to places that are not for large crowds, i.e. nice places with food of all types, nice drinks and good music.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to explore the world I live in to its fullest. I live my life to connect it with other people's lives, make new friends in different places, share ideas, beliefs and experiences. I hate repetition and routine situations.

兴趣

I love traveling. I love planes and flying on them. I would also love knowing how to fly them but I haven't figured it out yet. I love reading a good book on a quiet beach under the sun, just listening to the sound of the waves. I love a midsummer's evening on a porch with friends talking nonsense after a big meal.

I can listen to any kind of music. I love jazz and blues, pop and rock. Some of my favourite books are: The rain before it falls by Jonathan Coe, Colour Purple by Alice Walker, Star of the Sea by Joseph o'Connor, Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck and almost anything by Virginia Woolf

Movies include: Steel Magnolias, The valley of Elah, Streetcar named desire, The Hours, Seven, Lord of the Rings, Babel

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I have done is that I walked inside Kongoi jungle in the island of Koh Chang in Thailand. Frightening at times but very good for raising somebody's trust in themselves. You think that if you do something like that you can manage pretty much anything.
