About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To laugh with as many people, in as many different countries as I possibly can.

ABOUT ME

I am a Sort-of-ex-student-but-planning-on-going-back-soon with a fascination for the tiny details about life (i.e. my intended MA dissertation on buttons) I want to know about real life and real people. I love music and life and pretty much most things apart from snakes which freak me out. I'm currently on my first big trip, and already planning the next.

I love people, and am an utterly shameless geek at times.

I think thats everything...

PHILOSOPHY

I would rather dance in the rain than fear the storm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host people but can't as I live with the olds still when I'm back in blighty. I'd love to show people round though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my couch surfing experience has been quite limited. I have stayed with some people in China but that is it so far. It was Wonderful!

Interests

Pretty much anything. And new things catch my eye in a sort of 'Oh Shiny' type way (hence my room being stuffed with fleece from when I attempted to learn to spin last year) My first loves are music and books and travel and people. My seconds are knitting, playing historical dress-up, and geeking out.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to count. Really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sung in St Marco Basilica in Venice and the Duomo in Florance and the worlds largest stage in Estonia. Took the train across Russia, climbed the great wall of China, stayed with Tibetan Nomads, lived in France, picked fruit in the mountains, made amazing friends and love them all

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach quater-staff fighting medieval style, or knitting!
