About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is to see the world. Update... my mission when I started to travel was to see the world, now it is to continue meeting all the wonderful people of the world

ABOUT ME

After years of waking up each day, putting on a suit and tie and wasting the days away working in an office I decided it is time to start having fun and to get out there and see the world. I found that if you are a good person, people are good to you in return and this is the values I travel with. I like meeting people and experiencing the life of where I am so therefore I prefer to hitch hike then sit on a train or bus and to stay with local people instead of a hotel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling has given me faith in humanity again. I have been lucky to meet many incredible people and experience wonderful things. I dont travel just to tick box and say ive heen to a country, I want to experience place and the people and couch surfing is one of the best ways of doing this.

Interests

I enjoy travelling to other countries, meeting new people and learning new cultures. I believe we can learn something new from everyone and I love finding out that the way of life I thought was best is not and can actually be improved in so many ways.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is full of amazing experiences but one recent great experience was taking part in a hitch hiking race across Europe from Germany to Albania. It was an incredible feeling to reach the end point along with 160 other people, all having travelled using a method which is supposedly 'dead' now and knowing that we all got there thanks to the kindness of others.

Teach, Learn, Share

In my old life I was a computer technician. I am happy to teach anyone any computer skills they may like to learn and/or to fix any computer problems hosts/friends may be having.
I am m9re then happy to share my travel experiences and any tips I may be able to give for others upcoming journeys.
