Planning a trip to Israel and would like to meet people in more natural settings.

ABOUT ME

My husband and I live quite a quiet life in a beautiful little suburb of St Paul MN. We are parents of young adult children that are starting their careers or completing their undergraduate studies. My husband loves sports. He enjoys writing postcards has traveled extensively in Eastern Europe. I enjoy cooking and quilting. Perhaps both of us have a passion to tell others how we became convinced that there is a God and how we have known the God's forgiveness through His son Jesus.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has a basic need to know they are loved. People can look and act very differently but the needs are pretty much the same. Deep consistent love can only be filled by the indwelling presence of The Living God. My mission is to let as many people as I can know that the Bible is a true love letter from the one that designed you. Psalms 139

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up so I have not participated much yet but would love to host people. We have opened our home to exchange students in the past from France, Armenia, and South Africa. Contributing money seems to be a way to help the communication going which I was able to do in a small amount.

As a young person I loved the movie Funny Girl. Recently, Julia and Julie, the Blind Side were a couple I really enjoyed. I really enjoy worship music.
I would love to say I am an avid reader but I am not. The Bible is one of the few books I consistently find myself in.

Northern lights in North Dakota about 20 years ago. Very unusual. Lived in community with 150 -20 people at a time. Done Caring for a person during the dying process. My own mom was the most special.
