Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like giving up on a opportunity that can affect positively on my life. And CS is that sort of opportunity, I have no doubt on that. I'm kind of altruist, so I like to help other people in different ways. And possibility that someone completely strange for me, someone living in different place, and doing different things can share his/her life experiences with me is something that is priceless.

Interests

In general - collecting moments worth to be remebered. That's why photography is something that I like the most. Traditional black & white photography, to be specific. I develop camera film and photos all by myself, in a darkroom - there's some magic in that. Another interests worth mentioning are: cycling, some weightlifting (trying to be better than yesterday), hitchhiking, extreme sports (skydiving, B.A.S.E. jumping - something I would like to do in future). To finish, I like to meet people that will leave something valuable behind (I'm not talking about things like some fancy gold-plated Swiss watch worth more than all my belongings :P).

Music, Movies, and Books

As for movies, everything depends on the plot, but I mostly prefer drama or documentary (Butterfly Effect & Man on Wire are my top choices).
As for books, I read everything which will interest me, currently I'm in the middle of reading Metro 2033 by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
As for music, I have pretty wide music preferences, one time I'm wandering with classical piano music by Ludovico Einaudi, other time I work out listening to hardcore bands like Madball or Terror, so everything depends on the situation and the mood :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone to Switzerland for less than 24 hours just to do some bungee jumping in very special place - Verzasca Dam, to be specific. This spot was recorded for the opening scene in James Bond 007 Golden Eye film (so check it out!). For the lenght of bungee jump, it's 1st place in Europe, and 3rd in the world, so if you like to jump into abyss, it's perfect place to go :)
