I am Carolin from Germany and I am 23 years old. Oh it is so hard to talk about oneself. I would say I am very open minded and I think you can quite much fun with me. I am studying English and Geography for becoming a teacher. I love teaching since I love to be with people and to interact with others. I have two little sisters, a big family and some very good friends that are very important to me!
I am originally from a small village in Bavaria, which is in the South of Germany, but I am studying in Wuerzburg which is much bigger. I just love this city!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love travelling and love to meet new people! There is nothing that gives me more than seeing the world!
The country I travelled most is the United States. But also in Europe, I've been in a lot of places like Paris, London, Dublin, Mallorca, Prague, Portugal, and mostly all big cities in Germany. I think Hamburg is my favorite one!
Couchsufing is just perfect since you get not only the opportunity to see new places, it also gives you the chance to meet the people that live in those cities. Since I was living in American host families, I know that staying with inhabitants is COMPLETELY different than just staying in a hotel or hostel. I just love to see the REAL city.

Interests

I love taking pictures - with havin pictures of great places or experiences you can feel the great moments again. Travelling is definitely one of my hobbies - I try to see as much as I can and are open to get to new new cultures and costums. Furthermore, I love to play my guitar and to sing! Singing is my passion! When I was in school, I used to have a band - it was the best time ever! Meeting friends, also spending time with my sisters and my family is one of the most important parts in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess my favorite movie is Dirty Dancing 2, because I just love Cuba! It is on my list to visit next!
Unfortunately I do not really read, that is why I don't have favorite books!
But I love any kind of music - especially older ones! My favorite singer is Marvin Gaye, but I also love Michael Jackson, Sarah Connor or radio music.
