About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I work as in interpretation and translation, so my current mission is to go out into the world to see and experience as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy going out to see new sights and meet new people. When not studying or working (my main occupations at the moment), I love to read, swim and run, sometimes with a rugby ball, sometimes without. I like to spend as much time as possible outside and am a great fan of horses – I find them very calming and admire their gentleness and patience. Peace to me is in the creak of leather, the roar of the surf, or the gentle patter of rain.

PHILOSOPHY

I plan to do my bit in any way I can. It may sound corny, but I think the analogy of a butterfly flapping its wings is quite apt. You never know what impact your actions might have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I own a couch, it will be shared.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent about a week on Nantucket and was hosted by two people who were true ambassadors for the island. They were extremely open, generous, and knowledgeable, and immediately made us feel at ease and included in their company. That's what couchsurfing is all about.

Interests

Pretty much anything. Languages, history, people, sports, the great outdoors. Wandering about and looking at new stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The fog banks over the ocean on the California coast. The Cape of Good Hope. Any mountain range.
