I'm not really big on computers and that kind of thing, but hey if they can help people make connections then that's great and i'm willing to participate...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia invite me to crash on his couch when I was roaming the lands with Red Tail (my mtn. bike). I helped his Dad bring some wood in and gave his Mom some physiotherapy advice for her tennis elbow and they fed me and let me use their shower. The best part was being invited to help out on the fishing boat and bringing home a couple succulent lobsters! That wasn't a computer facilitated couchsurfing experience, but one of my best that came to mind just now. I haven't used the computer couchsurfing much, but the few experiences I've had with it have been very positive.
