I am a fun-loving pharmacist who enjoys anything outdoors! I love hiking, running and ultimate frisbee, especially :) I grew up in Upstate NY and now live in Chinle Arizona serving Navajo Native Americans. I love to learn about different people and things that interest them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm excited to travel and I wanted to really get to know more people of different backgrounds/cultures by sharing time with them.

I also really hope people who come through Chinle will be able to take advantage of my place to stay, and I can show people some of Canyon de Chelly, which is only 5 minutes away!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most any kind of music, with the only exception being rap. I most enjoy country and Christian :)

I very much enjoy documentaries and a couple favorites are: The Barkley Marathons and Fed Up. Three Idiots is my favorite non-documentary and its lessons I think about daily.

Favorite Book: The Name of the Wind (If you like fantasy, I highly recommend you read it!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Guatemala for a medical mission for a week in October 2016 and was one of the most important experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to solve a Rubik's Cube as well as many different card games. I would love to share my experiences in Navajo Nation and I love learning about everyone's individual journey and impactful experiences in their lives.
