About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am currently heading West

ABOUT ME

I am recently back in the land-o-the-free ketchup after working for a newspaper in China. Before China, I was on a trip around the world, starting in S. Korea (where I taught English) and heading west through S.E. Asia, on to India and Egypt. I love to cook, read, take photos, ride bikes. I also make jokes! and laugh at your jokes! Really!

PHILOSOPHY

I am not a spiritual person, and tend to believe that we live amongst a series of random happenings and coincidences. I make my decisions and try not to have any regrets. I believe that we are naturally moral people and that we can live well and be good to each other without the guidance of an organized religion; if we so choose.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am on-the-move at the moment, I have no couch to offer but one day soon I will! In the desireable San Francisco Bay Area! Come see me! In the meantime, I am game for games, I will cook you dinner, share stories and be a nice person to have around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once I was on my way to a hostel in Vancouver, Canada with a friend of mine and we started talking to a girl on the train. She invited us to stay at her apartment within two train stops! And we did, it was oh so much better than the dirty hostel we'd reserved. We met her friends, ate home-cooked meals stayed up late laughing. People can be so nice!
