Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a great way to meet new and especially local people during my travels in Taiwan/ other Asian countries.
I am currently cycling the East Coast of Taiwan and am hoping to meet some awesome couchsurfing hosts along the way

Interests

My interests are quite broad, ranging from reading and photography to doing sports, travelling and just generally keeping myself active. Over the past 6 months, I did quite a lot of travelling in Asia which made me obsessed with experiencing different cultures and meeting new people. I hope I will be able to keep this interest when I get back to Europe too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I listen to a lot of deep house music, but also love going to live music gigs. Recently, I started going to a lot of gigs/concerts of local Taiwanese bands in Taipei
Books- shantaram, the last don, sicilian,
Movies- pursuit of happiness, 7 pounds, the beach

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few months ago, I did this amazingly beautiful hike in Sri Lanka, which required me to get up at 1am and start hiking up a massive mountain in order to get to the top by sunrise. The view at the top of the mountain was definitely worth all that effort
