ABOUT ME

I'm 30, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Obviously I love to travel and get fully immersed into the culture, which is one of my reasons for joining CS as I believe it's important to see the world from the point of view of the locals as well as the tourists!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only officially hosted 2 cs'ers but it was fun, it's like travelling in your own town because you get to share travel stories with your guest and parade around the town like you're a tourist seeing everything for the first time!!

I've hosted people I've met whilst travelling and friends of friends from distant lands. I consider myself an excellent host, I love to take the time to teach people about my town, meet my friends and show them a good time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

November 2007 - Meeting - Amsterdam, met some cool people
November 2007 - Surfed - Maastricht with Marten. Got to attend carnaval which was awesome!! met many other great couchsurfers there.
November 2007 - Surfed - Antwerpen with the wonderful stijn
November 2007 - Surfed - Dendermonde with lieke and peter, very different experience as they had 5 kids but it was great! and there were 2 other csers staying there who it turns out had been to the same meeting as us in amsterdam! small world!
January 2008 - Hosted - Rodrigo from brazil

March 2009- Hosted- Lucia from Uruguay

September 2014 stayed with Matt and his wonderful family in Hungary and then continued on an adventure through Slovenia with one of his other guests

Us English aren't famous for our exotic cuisine but I can make you an excellent sausage and mash?!
I can be as quiet or as intrusive as you like! I would love to talk about travels, music, photography
