ABOUT ME

An overachiever by nature, I work hard, but then there is time and impetus to play hard, too. I love to travel and learn languages as I go. One day I would love to be able to communicate in ten different languages. Knowledge is a natural curiosity with me, and for that I am a well-liked and sought after substitute teacher. Only one of the many things I do...there is a creative side to me that includes: writing, performing, painting, gardening, and improving my granola-eating-tree-hugger skills.

There have been times I haven't focused on finding something exciting or quality in my day-to-day life. When I realized this, I started to find something each day - might just be a small niche, but I'm working on it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly I have hosted a couple of people here and there, but currently I changed my status as my crazy, erratic lifestyle only has moments, or pockets of time here and there to really share and meet new people. The spur of the moment is usually how I roll.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple of couch surfers, and have contacted a couple in Greece. Mainly I got information to prepare for trips.

Loving the Sookie Stackhouse novels - Next one May 4th!

(ahem, I see I must update this just a tad). Currently reading an incredible series that starts with OUTLANDER. It is a historical novel with a twist and then there are several more in the series that follow. The BEST. Also read the GIRL WHO x3 novels -- they are coming out in theatres. Great series. Ayn Rand's THE FOUNTAINHEAD and ATLAS SHRUGGED. Long journeys, but well worth it.

Music is all over the place. From Pink Floyd to Muse, New Order to Enya, The Chieftans to Prodigy, classic rock to trance and Depeche Mode is hands down my favourite.
