Présentation
À propos de moi
I am rather eclectic. I prefer the quieter life but can be a handful in a rave... I am teetotal, but feel at home in a pub, club or home. At 37 however, I've reduced the clubbing bit and tend to prefer home gathering, hosting friends or being hosted, cooking, bbq, walking or cycling in the country with my bf.
I was born and brought up in Nigeria and moved to the UK at 24. In that time, I've lived in London for 10 years then moved to a quieter suburb (Leatherhead) just outside London for cleaner air, cohessive community, nature and quieter life.
I sing (tenor) in a community choir - I have sang since I was 7 starting in a Cathedral choir. Also, I sing voluntarily for 3 different churches although I do not classify myself as a Christian - I have no religion. I also volunteer a lot.
I love cycling and have done a solo cycling trip of 1000 miles starting from the Southern-most tip of England to the Northmern-most tip of Scotland. And yes, I did that in 11 day (10.5 to be precise).
Erm... there's more to say but enough now.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
A friend recommended CS as useful when I was doing but I have to use it. I hope one day, I shall; both offer help or get it. You never know...
Centres d'intérêt
Erm... I like to be active and productive. I am not one for tv or movies but I am respectful to others and can watch one or two. My preferences are more geared towards documentaries, comedy, and other soft ones like that. I can do action but not violent or bloody ones. Agggrrr!
Politics gets me going. Spirituality too. And of course, other social issues.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I have read so many books. And I will recommend all; you make your judgement. Most recently, I read 'The Ethical Slut' and can recommend it. Yes I did. Get over it.
For music, most are fine except some rap (or whatever you call them).
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Shall I be self-deprecating or...
Well, Cycling London to Cambridge and back in one day - and managed to have lunch, sat by the canals, caught up with friends all in the same day in Cambridge - was mind-blowing for me.
