ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing social girl that loves to travel.My hobbies are photography, fashion, music. I play guitar (electric, classical and bass), ukulele, saxophone and I just bought a didgeridoo. I love instruments and although I'm not that talented I'm really stubborn when it comes to learning how to play :)I also love to read. I'm addicted to travel guides, just like to explore and subconsciously learn the maps so that I know my way in towns I haven't been to yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be an active host at my university and home town but haven't been able to host a lot so far since most requests come in exam periods :(.

I'm in Melbourne at the moment and I have been to a group meeting and I've met some couch surfers for my thesis research.

I'm open for all new experiences !!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet, but I definitely want to change that in the very near future. I have hosted a couple of people in my uni town before though. Since I have been a guide in Leuven for a couple of years I've guided them around both the touristy and the more fun aspects of student life :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big series addict, they all pass the revue, ideally for after dinner amusement. I also read a lot of books in all genres such as non-fiction books about photography and fashion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on my own to live on the other side of the world. First at 20/21 year old in South Africa and now as 24/25 year old in Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Dutch, French and German. I know a lot of strange facts that I love to share and I have great map reading skills :) (if I may say so myself)
