I was born in Mumbai. I was very diligent boy at that time. But inside me I grew up a rebel. And I've just graduated as a lawyer.

My friends say that I am curious, open-minded, easygoing and reliable person. I believe them. Sometimes, I can be quiet and looks like smiling silent man, because I'm an introvert. But if you know me better it would be easy to talk about everything.

100% Rookie at Couchsurfing. After graduation, I decided to explore a world and travel as much as I can. I want to enjoy life and meet new people. And, of course, hangout with them, exchange culture.

I get the first hitchhiking trip around Asia. I'm always opened to new experiences and ideas. And I wish to have a great time with my hosts and other surfers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of travelling, and about to leave for my first solo backpack, for southeast Asia, travelling 9 countries over the period of 3 months, would love to meet people and get to know their customs and tradition

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading is rarely a waste of time. Because of that I read everything: from autobiography of Lincoln to George W. Carver to Bonaparte.
Intellectual books from Karl Marx to Ambedkar to Buddha 'Crime and Punishment' by F. Dostoevsky to 'The Killing Joke' by Alan Moore; from 'Republic' by Plato to 'On the road' by Jack Kerouac. Novels like Fountainhead to war and peace by Leo Tolstoy. Sometimes I try to write by myself (mostly non fiction).

Movies:
I like independent production. And it seems to me that The Auteur Theory exalts cinematograph as a great art. However sometimes I can pass the time watching some action movie.
My favorite contemporary directors: David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Michael Haneke, Alexander Sokurov and Paolo Sorrentino.
Classics: Michelangelo Antonioni, Luis Bunuel, Gean-Luc Godard, Andrey Tarkovsky and Georg Wilhelm Pabst.

I love movies based on true stories the last one which inspired me the most was Motorcycle diaries...
