About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have my masters degree and enjoy life in Annemasse/Geneva in the meantime. Make the most of this life that is given to us!

ABOUT ME

I'm really passionate about learning languages. I love being able to communicate and express myself in a language other than my own.

I like singing a lot! Don't be surprised if you hear me humming a song all day long. I just hope for you that it's not the same one from morning to evening (yes, it happens to me sometimes).

I am easygoing and I like to have fun. Can be shy at times, especially when in group. But as soon as the ice breaks, I think I'm very friendly.

PHILOSOPHY

I deeply believe in difference among human beings and in tolerance! I think it is essential that we respect each other and not judge each other on the basis of personal or religious beliefs, sexual orientation... unfortunately this still happens quite often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having been hosted when I was traveling (in Spain), I now want to return the favor and offer my couch to you guys ;)
I'm also available for a drink outside if anyone wants to meet up in Annemasse! It's not a city that teems with awesome nights events, but I know a few bars that are cool.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been at people's places in Spain and it's been great. They were helpful and very nice to me and helped me discover Madrid. Great experience!

Interests

Sports (basket ball, tennis, badminton) when I get myself in an active mood.
Definitely listening to music (pop, rock, soul...) I listen to a lot of music, everyday, various styles
Also, watching movies: home or cinema (I love going to the cinema)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My year abroad as an exchange student in Canada. I spent 8 months that truly changed the way I see the world. This experience made me more open and more curious about the world and other cultures and people... I'm so grateful to the outstanding friends I made there!
My two weeks in Haiti too were also a strong experience. I saw how people manage life there, especially after the 2010 earthquake. This is the kind of experience that makes you realize how lucky you are with your own life (to be born in a developed country, to have had the opportunity to go to school, to college). It also makes want to get involved and volunteer for such causes. You become aware that you can stand out in this world and make a difference.
