Well, I'm a 38 year old guy who's still not lost the sparkle in his eyes despite, well, life :) I love traveling and meeting people, and I have traveled extensively since the day I was able to. I love the gym, cycling, movies, music, food (I love love love food and wine), the beach, traveling, photography, architecture, planes and airports, trains, hiking, nature, animals... Seems I like more things than I don't :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I graduated from hotels to Airbnb like most avid travelers, but now I am taking the plunge and want to travel with CS. I know this will help me meet a lot of nice people, experience a lot more of the local life and feel much more at home. Plus I am about to embark on a big big big trip that will span a long time and distance so I need to be able to miss home less :) Let's see how it turns out :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: too many to count. Depends heavily on my mood.

Movies: see above but I have my favorites like Gattaca, Stay, Constant Gardener, Requiem for a Dream, Big Fish or Milk.

Books: Also too many, but I am done with reading non-fiction for the time being.
