Hey guys!
Writing this has always been the hardest for me since I've never had an idea of what to share, what someone might be interested to know about me but here goes :D

I'm a soon to be 27 year old guy (sorry if I fail to update this in a year... or two :P :) ) living in Skopje (not that you can't see that on my profile but still I have to start somewhere right?).

Anyways I'm an animal lover who's grown up with dogs in the home and currently has two lovely little rascals at home.

I'm also an avid photographer. Fell in love with it as a kid and never left a camera since than. I like to think I've gotten pretty good at it too :) Go to facebook.com/BassyStills if you're interested, I'll be grateful as I love getting feedback on my work :D

I studied political science and I'm very into world politics and keeping up with what's going on on this little planet of ours. Therefore I love philosophy, pondering the meaning of life and imagining ways how to improve things in our society. I also like to think I'm proactive about it since I work in the field too. Something which fulfills me to a great extent.

That's all I could think of right now. I'm sure there's a lot more, and lots you'd like to know too but we'll leave that for when we meet :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love the concept of meeting new people and guiding them through my own culture and vice versa. Everywhere I've been so far I've noticed that in order for a person to fully experience and appreciate the place interaction with the locals is a must. That is the only way to get past the facade of a place and get to know the spirit and culture of it which are more important than any single landmark there is.

Update: Married the most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on! I still don't know how i got her so that counts as pretty amazing to me :D

Well I can teach you lots of photography related stuff If you'd like (and what traveler doesn't right?).

As for learning I'm open to whatever anyone has to offer.

Hmm... not sure I get this one.

I can share my knowledge and unique perspective of the world I've come to acquire over the past few decades. Maybe they'll be alike and we'll wonder how small the world is and then again maybe they'll differ and cast a new perspective on things. Either is good for me.

I can share my culture. The way the people from my corner of the world live, what makes us the way we are how we see things, what we are proud of and what we are not.

Lastly I can always take a good picture :D If you host me you'll likely end up with a pretty cool portrait of yourself :)
