ABOUT ME

It is always a little bit diffcult to me to introduce myself just because I never know where to start from. I can say that I've been travelling for a while after my degree in statistics to find a job because unfortunately in Italy it is very difficult getting a good one. On one side this has been my fortune because I have had the chance to learn so much about the world outside of Italy! On the other side it is a shame because every country should give the chance to its own citizens to live with dignity in their own place.Relocating should be a decison based on freedom instead of on surviving!So here I am, in Switzerland after having been in UK, Milan, Australia, Naples, Dubai,France,etc. I don't know if this will be my final destination, but for now I'm trying to live this experience to get the best from everything as much as I can, that's why I need you guys, yes all of you. Thanks.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect for people. I don't know how to say this in english but it is one of the most important fundamentals which I try to apply to my life every day (though sometimes I fail, sorry I'm human!). It says: do not do or say anything that you wouldn't like to be said or done to you.

I still don't know how I do participate in this fantastic community, I can say that I am a statistician and for instance I would like to give my contribute to the maintenance of this web site for what it concerns the statistics. I also would like to give my contribute for everything is related to the italian community because obviously it would be easy to me. Every other new idea should arise on my mind I will let you know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My approach to this community was nice (though I'm sure I'm not an exception here!). I was looking for a website where to meet new friends in Londond and I had my first contact with Diamond who manages his own website on which you can meet people every two weeks. He has been the first one to tell me about CS and after that, thanks to him I have met other CSurfers living in the area where I live (which is not London, I live in Buckinghamshire). Three or four times we have met up and I have also organized a dinner at my house as I love cooking italian food!After a while,due to many obstacles which I couldn't predict (!), today I have made the decison to finally complete my registration on this website because I feel that it has come the time for me to do more for my self and for this community, this means meeting much more people and having new friends in my life.

Interests

My biggest interest are classical dance and piano, I used to practice both when I was younger, no longer unfortunatelly. I also love travelling and going to the cinema, I really love movie world as well! I love animals and everything related to the nature (I couldn't imagine a life without a flower or the beauty of the sea around me). I like reading but I also like having interesting debates about common topics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies,so many beautiful movies I have seen, one of my favourite is Canone Inverso (Italian movie). I adore Celine Dion but I also like all types of music except for hard rock, heavy metal and everything that could break my ears! Gomorra is definitively on of the most interesting books that I have ever read in the last 15 years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I have seen has been seeing my oldest niece saying "shut up" with her little fnger towards me when she was only 18 months of age!I'll never forget that!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to have the opportunity to teach mathematics and italian and statistics and italian cooking. I would like to have the opportunity to learn economics and international finance, but I also would like to learn to play violin.
