ABOUT ME

Creative, imaginative, sporty, and very very social most of the time(have to leave a little quiet time for self reflection from time to time).

I have a strong desire to hike across one of the most beautiful place, SiChuan in China all the way to Tibet, walking, on horse backs, or by camel. That's my dream, but work is holding me up now. Sad but true. I will get my chance.

I am now living by myself due to school and work. Hosting or surfing is great for me at this point because pretty soon family life would probably give me less chance to host or surf.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to participate more. I saw CS on the news half year ago but never thought I would participate. But I did, and the experience changed my life literally. It has been so awesome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No longer a CS virgin. I have surfed a lot and now looking forward to hosting at Northwestern University (near Chicago, Northwestern Univ basically) (and in Austin Texas for the summer). This University is located north of Chicago and right next to Lake Michigan. It definitely has that small college town coziness but close enough to a major city. Best of both worlds for sure.

Update: everything has been settled and verified. I am totally up to meeting cool people and hosting whenever I am not busy with school and recruiting.

Update: I just hosted two surfers in Austin Texas, one from England and another mate from Sydney. It is my first experience and it was a walk in the park. Nice. A month later which is this week a girl from Russia is going to surf at my place. Awesome.

But also recently I accepted two people(emergencies) but they never responded back. Don't you just hate that? Time wasted.

兴趣

Everything social and interactive and fast paced.
I love to go hang out at dance clubs(not in the recent years but before, time moves on), Terrain Parks(snowboarding), Beach(volleyball), Ocean(windsurfing), Desert(camel riding), mountains(horseback riding), Courts(tennis), and Tables(ping pong). Although I do like cool places, I like cool people more because cool people can change ordinary places to cool.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I saw a 1 ton sea turtle, no, two of them playing with each other when I was snorkling off Poipu beach in Kauai in 2007. I told my wife and at first she didn't know what she was going to see. Then she got so scared and swam the fastest I ever seen her peddle to shore.

On the same day, I found a $20 bill on the bottom of the ocean floor. Lucky me!

I love music and I love to dance the night away at clubs with nice lighting and music. I can dance anything from R&B, Hip Hop, to house. :D

I live in Hutong, the center of Ancient China/Beijing where the street are from the Qing Dynasty.
It has the richest culture of anywhere in China and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, Houhai, SanLitun, North Sea, NanLuoGuXiang, WangFuJing. All the popular spots in Beijing.
Cannot be any better if you want to have fun in Beijing.
