Hi all,

My name is Margot! Originally from Paris, France, I decided to move to New York!

I studied tons of different things including art history, communication, political science, international affairs and currently climate science and energy policy! I'm a very curious person and eager to learn...

Obviously, the main reason why I registered to CouchSurfing is that I love meeting people from all around the world and especially travelling!

Hosting people if possible, meeting for a coffee and use other surfers' couches!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Sicily, Italy in 2011 and in Rio, Brazil in 2012 (and absolutely loved it!

Our host in Brazil made us discover amazing Brazilian food and Latin American wines adn was extremely helpful during our whole stay!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Having beers with an exiled Tibetan in Dharamsala in India and hearing the stories of his family who tried to cross the border between China and India
- Seeing the temple of Angkor in Cambodia with the rising sun.
- 2013 Obama inauguration in Washington DC
- Seeing a girafee deliver a baby in Kenya
