About Me

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am living in Seoul right now so I wont be able to host but opened to meet up in Korea.

Me and my wife. Two teachers. One mathematican in high school and one economist in university.
We do believe one of the best pharases in a world is below :
"Peace at home, peace in the world" Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
We are not sure we will see or not but we beleive there is only one world and sooner or later people will understand the value of it. There won't be any wars, any conflict, any battle. Also there won't be any borders... So utopian? We hate to classify people by their political view, their religion or belief, by their color, by their race etc. As told before there is only one world why don't we all live in peace? Actually it's not too complicated. If you do good things, good things will happen to you and if you do bad things bad things happen to you. Simple right ? (By the way Karma is not a bitch :) Instead of being evil just try to be good person. Lastly we are trying as much as we can and we persistently recomend to you: "Don't live someone else's life. " S.Jobs

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been in many countries. In one of my vocations I have met with many people using cs so I just jumped in.

We have both hosted and surfed for a couple of times. They were all great experiences for us. The cs sytem is extreemly wonderful. If you can't travel the world let the world travel to you.

We don't see the cs as a free hotel/hostel. The main thing must be cultural exchange. For eg. If any surfer wants to prepare a local meal we would love that. Because we are trying to do same thing while we are surfing. Of course cooking is not the only thing for exchange cultures. Just try to be creative that will be enough :)

Interests

Economy, politics, art, history, music, sports, education, philosophy and I guess the most important thing TRAVELLING..

Music, Movies, and Books

hmmm that really dependes up to our mood. We love most of the kinds.
We would love to listen anything sounds good. Especially popular ones. We love to read about history, triller, sci-fic books (Ken Grimwood, John Verdon, Adam Fever are some of our favourites).
We love to watch Woody Alen's movies again and again. I like mostly comedy and historical films, my wife's favourite type is romantic comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending our honeymoon in Egypt.
Reaching second floor of Eiffel tower by climbing 328 stairs.

Teach, Learn, Share

We would love to exchange languages. We can also teach economics and mathematics both in English and Turkish while we are surfing if demanded.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can prepare some Turkish meal if we can avaible to find ingriedents in your country. If we can't we try our best. We love to accompany in events that we are invited. But we have mostly a limited budget so instead of doing expensive things we prefer cheap or free activities.

Countries I’ve Visited
