ABOUT ME

I'm just guy who has his own way of living, ready to say yes to the next adventure and share experiences! I like to practice sports but specially water sports (scuba diving, canoeing, snorkelling) and now also trail running, almost every morning I do 1 hour jogging . I used to have always my camera to freeze the moment and keep it for those days we may not be able to do it again but now with these new cellphones it's possible to do it even faster and lighter. I like to socialize and make new friends!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started when I was living with a friend in south of Portugal, Faro, she received couch surfers 3 times and the seed start growing until I hosted my first CS. It was a good experience, so good that this year, after 7 years I contacted them and visited them in their country!

Interests

I'm Marine Biologist and I love what I do. I really like to dive, hiking, biking, explore cities running and take photos. I used to spend a lot of time at sea, working and watching marine life, now I'm working in an Aquarium and still keep the contact with animals! I love to cook and eat different things I'm not used to specially if someone share it with me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really loved to read the Earth's Children series form Jean M Auel. But also like Tolkien, Boris Vian, Dan Brown, Augusto Cury, and cooking books!!

I'm a rock'n roll, ska, reggae lover but I like almost all king of music. And please remember Portuguese Fado was inscribed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say my marine biologist work took me the sharks and rays fantastic underwater world but suddenly I quit my job and moved to hot desert of Arabic Peninsula :-)

I can share some Portuguese cooking heritages, sushi and now I'm having Arabian cooking lessons to have something new to share!
